Introduction

Muhammad Usman Joyia has stepped into a new leadership role as Head of Department at National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences – FAST, alongside his continuing position as Assistant Professor. With a PhD in Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) and extensive academic experience, Dr. Joyia has built a strong track record in academic process development, event management, and educational leadership. His journey includes impactful teaching and leadership roles at FAST NUCES Faisalabad, Khanpur Institute of Technology, and National Textile University – NTU. He has also chaired prestigious academic conferences such as ICIT 2024, and 2023, driving knowledge transfer and collaboration across the education sector. In his new role, he will focus on advancing machine learning, data science, and academic innovation, while fostering student growth and institutional excellence.
