Introduction

Dr Usama Najam is a research-active academic with over 13 years of experience in teaching and research, specializing in leadership, human resource management, and business analytics. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Management Sciences at FAST NUCES, Multan Campus, where he also leads the BS Business Analytics program. He previously served as a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Malaya’s Faculty of Business and Economics, a QS World Top 56 institution accredited by AACSB and AMBA.

He holds a PhD from Universiti Malaya, with expertise in organizational and digital leadership, employee resilience, and organizational citizenship behavior. His methodological strengths include structural equation modelling (AMOS and SmartPLS), artificial neural networks, business analytics, bibliometric analysis, sentiment analysis, and text mining. He has published over 24 peer-reviewed journal articles, serves as Associate Editor of the Asian Journal of Business and Accounting, and has contributed to AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA accreditation initiatives. His teaching focuses on business analytics, strategic management, leadership, and quantitative methods, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
